Join me as I guest host this monthly circle with the New York Shamanic Circle.
Each month we hold space for each of our sacred divine and share in a shamanic journey.
About NYSC
Since July 1997, the NY Shamanic Circle (NYSC) has continuously gathered to practice shamanic journeying and build community. Over the course of 26 years, the NYSC has hosted numerous shamanic events and workshops by well-respected teachers from around the world.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for our past and present core members and the thousands of dedicated community members worldwide for their enthusiasm and continued support. We are also extremely proud of all our members who continue to spread our teachings, walk the path of service, create new circles, and offer healing and other shamanic services to many worldwide. This is a testament to our sacred work. Looking into the future, we remain committed to continuing with your support!
Why Do We Gather?
We meet because as the lightkeepers, the life-givers, and the harnessers of the great feminine divine, we are called to service from birth, and much like our ancestors, we require the space to share, to release, and replenish to carry on the great work before us.
Let us gather, as our ancestors once did, to connect to the spirit of Great Mother, her lessons, and the gifts she offers.
New to this group?
This group draws participants from all over the world (Mexico, USA, Canada, Spain, India, and UK) who are each in different phases of life, in transition, and in some cases stepping into their own healership. Each month we focus on a theme or Quechua word of the Andean Cosmovision led by Mitzy Clementina Bautista, who is Bolvian American and a lineaged carrier of the Andean tradition.
Each gathering typcially includes opening of sacred space with the 4 archetypes of the Andean Medicine Wheel to welcome the guidance and medicine of this tradition. Time and theme permitting, there are 1 to 2 shamanic journeys with drum (or rattle) and song for guided visioning. Shares are optional and is usually a very enriching and supportive space.
Each circle averages 7 to 12 participants.
Healers welcome! This is a supportive and curious space for all those interested in Andean Medicine and seeking support in their spiritual journey.
